9/11, 11, and Gematria
What follows are some of the more obvious links between 9/11 and the number 11 made through English gematria. The links go much deeper than this and in fact were for me the gateway to the New Bible Code itself. Many more such connections are found throughout this site. In biblical numerics 11 is the number of disorganisation, disorder, disintegration and imperfection, which, along with the number 9, meaning endings, finality, judgment, fruits and suffering, suggests that 9/11 was God's judgment on an imperfect system. The digits of 11 also suggest the horns of a beast. However, the most important meaning of the number 11 is given in the first of my links, the name of the man who was 'numbered with the transgressors' (Luke 22:37, NIV).
There is a 1-in-11 chance of any number being a multiple of eleven, so any links are necessarily probabilistic. Double multiples of eleven are much more significant, as there is a 1-in-121 chance of this happening. Numbers with 11 in the digits, like 11 or 110, are also more significant, whereas numbers merely suggesting 11, like 101, are less so.

1. This English spelling is at least fifty times more popular on Google searches than variant spellings like 'Usama' and 'Ladin', so I feel on safe ground using it.
